Welcome to the Southern Mecklenburg Republican Club.
SMRC was founded to promote Republican values through education, fellowship, service, and advocacy. We explore together what Republican values should look like in practice, using educational programs, service projects, and social events.
The Club also works to meet these objectives:
* Educating Republicans and the community at large on sound public policy according to Republican principles.
* Encouraging good government in Mecklenburg County according to Republican principles.
* Fostering strong relationships with the community through demonstrations of citizenship and Republican practices.
* Supporting the growth and development of the Republican Party in Mecklenburg County and in North Carolina.
* Supporting the principles, objectives, and platform of the Republican party.
SMRC meets on the 4th Thursday of each month at Bucca Di Beppo Italian Restaurant, 10915 Carolina Place Parkway, Pineville, NC 28134. Dinner and fellowship starts at 6:30 pm. The meeting starts promptly at 7 pm and ends at 8 pm.
